With CST automated filament winding technology we can offer cost effective high
performance carbon spars for a wide
range of multihulls, sports boats and yachts
from 20 to 60ft in length.
We have round, eliptical and D section mandrels to produce spars that are precision made to desired wall thickness and section profile. CST spars are also available in different grades of carbon fibre. These include standard, intermediate and high modulus grades making sure we can produce a spar to suit your budget or performance requirement. |

also offer a range of standard and custom made masts, beams,
spinnaker poles and booms for multihulls,
including the A-Class, Tornado and Farrier. |

| CST's spars have been used for many
years by sports boat classes such as 79er, Elliot 780 and Ross 780 to name but a few. We have an extensive experience in this market sector with spars that have been proven to be responsive, durable and
reliable. |

| 30-45ft Yachts: |
| |
| CST has manufactured sections for a number of medium size yachts from AC33, Farr 31, Azzura 31, Hick 30, JS9000, TS 9m to Beneteau 42.7s. We are also the exclusive spar supplier to the FT7.5 and FT10 clases and can cater for one design association needs. |

| 45-60ft Yachts: |

| With recent tooling upgrades, we have the capacity to produced large filament wound sections as well. One of these includes the 279ID D section, (see photo below) which was used to produce a 50ft racing trimaran spar. CST also provided sections for Beneteau 42s7, Paul Bieker 44 and Libera 14m as we continue to expand our presence in the large yacht market. |
